about

From Install Sound:

Originally conceived as the basis for an extended performance at an invitational group show in the summer of 2009, 'The Sunrise Ruby' is more a document of a generative process than a through composed piece. Meant to mirror Brian Eno’s original tenets of “ambient music,” 'The Sunrise Ruby' is the sort of soundscape that could roll on endlessly, a bed of processed piano melodies and clattering field recordings set to unspool quietly.

Originally released in heavily edited form as part of 'ABX2' - a collaborative EP on Milieu Music which featured Coppice Halifax morphing the track’s bucolic undertones into a pair of storming dub techno monsters - this is the first time 'The Sunrise Ruby. has been made available in its original form.

The Sunrise Ruby is a precursor to Radere's INSTALL debut in the Installation series, 'KOBOLD,' set for release in 2012.
